NEURO-SOMATIC INTEGRATION (NSI)
'Lie down in a supine position, palms face up, feet naturally falling to 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. A timer is for 15 minutes - 60 minutes depending on scenario.
Breathe into full being with deep conscious diaphragmatic breaths. On subconscious, unconscious and knowing states, expand your core knowing of you.
NSI breaths require conscious breathing when needed by the body rather than allowing for the autonomic nervous system to regulate breathing. Each breath is an intentioned deep inhalation followed by a powerful release. There is no shallow breathing.
This exercise isn't about counting breaths or fixating on numbers. We have enough OCD in this world. It isn't about creating cognitive imagery and going to 'distant' imagined worlds.
NSI is about being here and now, fully in body without the conscious mind driving the car. It allows for the body to be in the driver's seat while permitting the conscious self to become a passenger. Rather than imposing logical conditionings onto the self as we almost always do, NSI allows for the body's wisdom and cognitive knowings in between the conditioned incongruencies to meet the conscious mind with universal truth.
In this created space, the "dots get connected" without conscious effort of "connect the dots." NSI cleans the psyche of residual debris obscuring pure truth. It washes away sludge build up of psyche such that clarity of what matters remains.
